Jared has been mowing lawns for 20 years. He put his own name on it in June 2024 and runs OH Lawn Care from Mount Vernon. His dad and his daughters pitch in from time to time, but he's the one who takes your call, books the job and turns up to do it. No crews, no call center, no guessing who'll show up.

How much does mowing cost?
It depends on the size of the yard, so Jared gives you a price after a quick look. Estimates are free and there's no obligation. Once you've got a price, that's the price each visit, so there are no surprises.
Is OH Lawn Care new?
The name is new. Jared isn't. He's been mowing lawns for 20 years, and started OH Lawn Care in 2024 so he could do it under his own name. Have a look at the reviews and the before and after photos, and you'll see the kind of job you can expect.
Do I have to be home?
No. Most customers aren't. As long as the gate's unlocked and the yard's clear of toys, hoses and dog messes, Jared gets on with it and lets you know when it's done.
Do I have to sign up for regular mowing?
No. OH Lawn Care works on call. You call or text when the yard needs a cut and Jared fits you in. Most of his customers get in touch each time it's grown, all season long, and that works fine for everyone.
Is snow removal really new?
Yes. OH Lawn Care is adding driveway and sidewalk snow removal for the 2026–27 winter. It's on call: you get in touch after a snowfall and Jared gets to you as soon as he can. He's keeping the number of snow customers small for the first season, so ask early if you'd like to be one of them.
What areas do you cover?
Mount Vernon and Mitchell first, then the towns around them: Plankinton, Parkston, Ethan, Alexandria, Woonsocket, Armour, Corsica and the rest of the list above. If you're close to any of those, call.
